Global Hyatt Changes Their Name to Hyatt Hotels Corporation – Finally

Global Hyatt changed their name to Hyatt Hotels Corporation, to better reflect their brand, but the question still remains – why was it called Global Hyatt to start with? I always thought it was to make people think they were bigger than they really were.
