This is a bit of old news – it was originally announced in mid-September – but Starwood Hotels is converting their Clarion Hotel property in Millbrae, CA (just south of the San Francisco Airport) to an Aloft. In fact this is going to be the first conversion for the Aloft brand, and thats just the first phase of the project, the second phase being a new-build Element hotel.
