This week at MGM Mirage’s June 15th shareholder meeting, MGM Mirage has asked their shareholders to:
To amend and restate the Certificate of Incorporation of the Company to change the name of the Company from “MGM MIRAGE” to “MGM Resorts International”
Atlantic City’s Bader Field RFP Deadline Extended
Since Atlantic Citys Bader Field closed to air traffic – the only development expected to occur on the site are casinos and their ancillary services. Since Atlantic City put out a RFP for the site – they’ve had to extended it, due to lack of demand.
Steve Wynn’s Encore TV Commercial
To publicize the opening of Steve Wynn’s new Encore resort on the Las Vegas Strip, he filmed a commercial while sitting at the very top of the hotel. Steve Wynn – never one to do something without being flashy!
