Two days ago, during a Commercial Real Estate Conference in Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Mayor and the Parkway Corporation announced Philadelphia’s first Home2 Suites development – on the corner of Arch St and 12th Ave, 1200 Arch Street to be exact. Before you say, “Who cares? Another cookie-cutter extended stay chain hotel in Philadelphia”; recall back [...]

Hilton’s re-invigoration was going smoothly, Blackstone really seemed to be making an effort to ensure the viability of the company into a long term asset. What Happened to Hilton’s Denizen?
Ever since Starwood sued Hilton over their Denizen brand no word has come from either party about Denizen’s fate. I don’t think anyone expects Denizen to ever see the light of day at this point – but still.. What’s going on?

Hilton Ad from 2008 – “Family Value. Without Family Drama”
I just came across an ad from Hilton’s Management division that was published in Sept 2008 – highlight of the ad? Go with Hilton – there is no drama, everyone works like a family… I’m sure the Denizen developers wouldn’t say that today.
