Robert, I could not agree with you more. Once Metro Bank opens in the Monmouth County area (probably not for a few more years) I will be immediately be moving from TD Bank. Since the TD takeover, Commerce has become the “big bank” that they said they would never be. Fortunately they are the lesser evil of the big banks – but you can still clearly see the direction they are heading in. Its ashame.

When Vernon opens a bank in Gloucester County NJ… I will be moving my personal and business account to Metro. Commerce was a great bank once I discovered Commerce when I moved to Washington Township NJ I was so happy to deal with a bank that serviced it’s customers especially during the time periods of the day that working people can get to the bank. I believe Commerce helped change banking hours (you know the old saying “what do you work banking hours?”…that is something younger people today would probably not understand. TD is nothing like Commerce and I hope Vernon brings the same customer service culture to Metro that Commerce Bank was famous for.

Mr and Mrs Hill here is your big chance for a big come back started banking with you 25 years ago when you open a branch in Sicklerville we now live in Marlton and will be taking our banking else TD North in nothing like commerce bank was. Hope to bank with you again wish you had a bank here to go to now.

I visited Metro Bank’s website for the first time today and thought it was very user friendly. Sure their may be kinks but that’s to be expected with most new things. Be patient.

I wish Vernon and Metro Bank much success.

Vernon HIll was FIRED. He did not resign. The board terminated him for shady dealings with his wife and a few other of his family members.

Just Awful. I’m locked out of my online account. The poor tellers seem frazzled. One was even crying. Should have gotten all the kinks out of the system before switching over. Every time I call in they tell me their piece of crap system is offline. I’m changing banks. Whoever is in charge of this mess really needs slapped. Call the fed I want my money out and this bank needs closed until it’s fixed!

I with you all!! this totally sucks

This merger has been nothing but a nightmare. first the website goes off on Friday night and you cant even access. Comes back up on Sunday, then the login dont work at mymetrobank.com . I go to buy groceries and my card doesnt work. Anyone experiencing major issues with this bank already? Ive been with them for many year and everything is screwed up in one day. They never sent out notifcation of the name change and just got the day the name changed. How odd is this? I am about to pull my accounts. I cant get anyone on the phone. I am on hold forever. then i call the bank branch and the woman isnt very helpful and rude. what happened to the customer service? Whats going on this bank?

metro you never launch a new name or website unless everything is working. you never take the old banks website down ever unless you can replace it with the new one right away. this thing hasbeen ridiuclous

They could have at least tested and gotten bugs out before trotting this horrible new system out. My wife was out of town and could not use here VISA/Debit card yesterday 6/14/09. Their online bill pay doesn’t work and pending transactions have suddenly disappeared. I can only hope this gets better.
