This story actually just broke on the local news this morning as well. A lot of people are excited about the prospect of a new building - any new building - in the space currently held by a dusty vacant lot in the middle of our extremely dense downtown core. The fact that it would be a W hotel is the icing on the cake. Providence is a really gorgeous (little) city, that certainly has the cultural amenities and chic urban styling to support a hotel like this.
