Thanks for the comments. I've seen the FlyerTalk post numerous times, but some of the locations are too rumored to really put much faith in. W Hotel in both Brooklyn & Harlem for example.. 99% chance they are really alofts, especially since the Harlem project actually has the aloft logo on the lower right corner of the rendering.

I didnt know about the 18 LeMeridiens - thanks for pointing them out.

Also, I'm working on a post right now which will reveal another aloft location that hasnt been announced.

In the SPG forum over on FlyerTalk.com, we have a very nice list of upcoming aloft, element, and W hotels that are in the works.
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=707956

On my own website, I have most of these and many other future Starwood branded hotels mapped with Google Earth. Unless I've somehow missed a few, all current properties are in my files.

The W San Juan is not the same project as the W Vieques. I think that the W San Juan is still in the works.

W Scottsdale's "firm date" is actually more like August now.

I have 18 upcoming Le Meridiens in my mapping files worldwide.

As you said, Starwood is doing much better about giving more info on upcoming properties, but there are still a lot of unannounced ones out there, too.

Hi Andrew: Actually, as National Harbor’s Web site explains (http://www.nationalharbor.com/Experience/Accommodations.aspx), Gaylord is one of six hotels within National Harbor—which itself is its own city.

Thanks for your interest.
