One thing that’s great about starting a blog, especially one with a focus is you start coming into touch with people who are interested in the same thing you are – I know that my core group of friends thinks I’m crazy with my Passion for Hotel Development, yet – it’s something I feel comfortable with, and its something that I enjoy pursuing.

There are hundreds of tech blogs, hundreds of blogs about politics, and hundreds of blogs about real estate – yet, very few that have original content on the hotel industry.

I wanted to give a quick mention to two people who run great blogs which are focused on the hotel industry – and have great original content: Chris from VacantReady.com. Chris runs VacantReady.com which is a blog which comes out of Vancouver, covering the Canadian hotel industry – facts, figures, news bits, etc. Chris was kind enough to do a quick post about my blog last week – Thanks Chris, and best wishes for the site improvements in the future!

I also wanted to give a quick mention to Juliana from HotelChatter.com. HotelChatter is a great website which gives reviews of hotels, information on hotel openings, and the content has a great sense of humor. Best wishes to the continued success of HotelChatter – I look forward to your new posts everyday!

Writing this blog is very fulfilling, and every day it’s bringing me closer and closer to my goal – I’m excited.. I have alot of great articles coming up, plus a few that have been in the hopper for a few weeks now – just haven’t had the time to write them out.
